MOBA crowd-control timing test

Cleanse

A caster throws a homing sigil that always hits and stuns you. Cleanse within 100 ms of the hit, but not a frame before: press too early and the Cleanse is wasted. Ten scored attempts.

What it measures

Reaction time:
from the first frame that shows you stunned to your Cleanse key press.
Cleanses:
how many of your ten attempts you cleansed in time.
Consistency:
the spread of your timings across the session.

Modes

Simple:
the caster is in view and winds up for 220 ms before it throws.
Medium:
it Flashes in and casts 0–40 ms later, so the sigil’s flight is shorter.
Hard:
it hides in one of the bushes around you, then Flashes out and casts from a direction you can’t predict.

Controls

  • RMBMove
  • SStop
  • F / DCleanse
  • SpacePause

How you’re scored

A 0–1000 score: 55% median reaction, 25% cleanse rate and 20% consistency. Pressing before the hit is “too early” and not cleansing within 100 ms is “too slow”; both are failed attempts. Attempts disturbed by a frame drop over 50 ms are repeated.

FAQ

Why is there no anticipation floor in Cleanse?
Because it’s a timing test: you can see the sigil coming, so timing the hit is part of the skill. Any press after the hit counts; a press before it wastes your Cleanse.
Can I move while stunned?
No. You can move freely until the sigil hits; while stunned, movement is locked until you Cleanse.
Can I use D instead of F for Cleanse?
Yes. F is the default and you can switch to D on the intro card; the choice is saved separately from your Flash key.
