MOBA reaction test · Flash
Flash the Engage
A juggernaut charges at you and knocks up everything where it lands. Read the engage and Flash out of the red zone before impact. Ten scored attempts, each timed from the first rendered frame of the threat.
What it measures
- Reaction time:
- from the first frame of the engage to your Flash key press.
- Escapes:
- how many of your ten attempts got clear of the landing zone.
- Direction:
- the distance your Flash gained compared with a full Flash straight away from the landing point.
- Consistency:
- the spread of your reaction times across the session.
Modes
- Easy:
- a visible charge that lands about 400–530 ms after it starts.
- Medium:
- the enemy Flashes forward and charges at once, landing about 260–330 ms after its Flash.
- Hard:
- fog of war: it hides in one of 2–3 bushes around you and charges out unseen.
Controls
- RMBMove
- SStop
- D / FFlash to cursor
- SpacePause
How you’re scored
A 0–1000 score: 50% median reaction, 25% escape rate, 15% consistency and 10% Flash direction. Inputs faster than 100 ms after the engage count as anticipation and the attempt repeats, as do attempts disturbed by a frame drop over 50 ms.
FAQ
- How is reaction time measured?
- From the first rendered frame that shows the engage (in Medium, the enemy's Flash) to the timestamp of your key press, on a fixed 1 ms simulation step so your frame rate doesn't change the outcome.
- Can I use F instead of D for Flash?
- Yes. D is the default and you can switch to F on the intro card; your choice is saved in your browser.
- Why was my attempt repeated?
- Either you pressed Flash before the engage (or within 100 ms of it), which counts as anticipation, or a frame took longer than 50 ms during the measured window, which makes the timing unreliable.
